Coming Soon to Wedgewood-Houston

Wedgewood-Houston continues to emerge as Nashville’s trendiest artistic neighborhood. Much like The Gulch and 12 South, Wedgewood-Houston continues to draw Nashville’s hottest restaurants, bars, art galleries, and attractions.

In the coming years, there are plans for several new condo developments and mixed-use communities. Core Development, the developer behind the Finery, plans to open another condo development on Pillow Street in 2018. In addition, there are plans underway to overhaul Greer Stadium. The city has outlined needs for the project that include recreational space, workforce housing, and even a place for entertainment. An exact timeline for the project has not yet been finalized.

The Finery is a mixed-use community made up of residential condo buildings, retail stores, coffee shops, and local eateries. Retail shops at the Finery include Sassafras Market, Diskin Cider, Corsair Distillery, and Bongo Java. In addition, The Finery embraces Wedgewood Houston’s artisan culture, featuring live/work storefronts for local artists and business owners.

Future plans for the Finery also include a full-service restaurant and another mixed-use development that is currently in the design phase. In addition, Core, the developer behind the Finery, has announced plans for a residential-condo community set to open in 2018 on Pillow Street..
